This award is given to a person that is not a member of the CCD Division in recognition of outstanding service to the field of Guidance.

Would you like the opportunity to attend ACTE Vision in Nashville, TN December 2025
The CCD Division will award one stipend (to be reimbursed after attendance) in the amount of $1000 for a CCD member to attend ACTE Vision.
Due Date: May 23, 2025
All applicants will be notified by June 6, 2025, via email provided on application
Criteria:

Must be a member of OkACTE and the Oklahoma CCD Division for the 2024-2025 & 2025-2026 years

Completion of the Google Form application where applicants articulate how attending Vision aligns with their professional development goals and current job responsibilities.

Preference will be given to members who have NOT attended ACTE Vision.

The stipend will be paid after ACTE Vision. Receipts/invoices must be submitted to the CCD Treasurer for review. Receipts will be due by January 15, 2025 for reimbursement.

The member awarded the stipend will be ask to give a brief overview of their time at Vision during the CCD Business Meeting at Oklahoma Summit 2026.

The McCharen Award is presented to an individual OkACTE CCD member who consistently contributes to the advancement of career guidance/counseling during the year.
This person may be a “behind the scenes” player or a person in the forefront.
